	The introduction of a DCC-type (Digital Command Control) control system
	Steam engine wheels available in various sizes/colors with connecting rods
	Six (6) wheel train motor
	New structures (such as stations, depots, etc.)
	More choices of track lengths and curvatures (radius)
	Working, lighted signals and crossing guards
	More AFOL involvement in train development in conjunction with LEGO®
	Knuckle couplers to replace the magnets currently in use
	Small supplemental kits (in the $3 to $10 range)
